First Quarter Moon in Pisces – A CHINK IN THE ARMOUR

The first quarter moon in Pisces (December 4th, 6:58 GMT) finds itself conjunct dreamy Neptune and sextile the pile up of planets in Capricorn. Perhaps one last window of daydreaming is possible before the next round (year) of hard work begins.

If it is possible for you to take some time out of the crazy season and turn your attention inward. To breathe. To doodle. To do what lifts your heart and reveals the great truth that we are all connected. Do that.

First Quarter Moon in Aquarius – Paradigm Shift

If you’ve been feeling that draw to get to the bottom of something (for me, it has been getting a handle on what I really want to do/ who I want to be/ am in this world – you know, easy stuff) this will intensify as the Scorpio Moon cycle continues.

The First Quarter Moon falls in Aquarius (4th November, 10:22 GMT) square the sun in Scorpio (opposite Uranus in Taurus). A deep shift is being made, likely this shift is most visible on the community level, but it will most definitely also be occurring on a personal level. Whether you notice it is up to you.

“The present convergence of crises––in money, energy, education, health, water, soil, climate, politics, the environment, and more––is a birth crisis, expelling us from the old world into a new.”

*Elemental cleansing – Use each of the elements to cleanse and shift into a new way of being: Bathe in water; Run with the wind; Warm by the fire/ sun (and burn away anything old and dying); Scrub with earth (a pumice stone is great for this).
*Read sources that you usually ignore because they are counter to your way of seeing the world
*Journal (always).

Scorpio New Moon – Beneath the Surface

We have reached the Scorpio New Moon (28th, 03:38 GMT). With the Sun, Moon, Venus and Mercury together in Scorpio we have a LOT of change happening, but it is likely that most of this change is happening on a subconscious level. The way that we communicate with ourselves about who we really are, how we really feel, what we really want is changing.

We can work at bringing these changes up from the depths of our (collective) unconscious, but – like everything else this month – it’s going to take some work.

I set down on the bank.
I tried to think but couldn’t,
So I jumped in and sank.”

First Quarter Moon in Capricorn – Work/ Work Balance

The First Quarter Moon lands in Capricorn, conjunct native Saturn (5th 5:46pm BST). I find First Quarter moons always have an aspect of challenge to them, but this one will feel that way more than most. With the moon also forming a sextile to dreamy Neptune in Pisces and trine Uranus in Taurus, there is a strong urge to do something different, to break free of the everyday, same old, same old. And that’s great, but the new thing, if it’s worth your effort, will also need work. The grass is not necessarily greener. You need to feed your current lawn too.

It’s all about finding your work/ work balance. That may be between your day job and your side hustle, or parenting and employment, or self-employment and home maintenance. You get the idea. There’s work, and there’s work. And there’s no right answer. Try and have some fun with it.
